The Arrival: They've just landed on Istanbul Yeşilköy Airport. 4 Outsiders - 2 men and 2 women (I am not yet sure the nature of their relationship - further research needed).

The Outsiders: In my possession, I have a collection of 500 slide films taken during a holiday in Istanbul at the end of April 1979. What did these outsiders experience during their visit, how did they see the city and what caught their attention? And what didn't? Here I chronicle my discoveries of their holiday. As they were the spectators of a foreign city, I am a spectator of a short period of the outsiders' lives.

Istanbul: Finally at the heart of the city. It seems like wherever the outsiders go, they are always near the water. The waterline seems to be one of the focal points of their interest so I recreated it to best of my abilities.
